2010 Goal
Volunteers for the United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Area have set a goal to raise $1,000,000 this fall. The campaign kicked off Thursday, September 16. This year’s theme is “LIVE UNITED.”
Five organizations stepped up to serve as Pacesetters for Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Area’s 2010 United Way campaign. Pacesetters are businesses or organizations that ran their internal campaigns early, demonstrating strategies that increased their campaign's potential for success, thereby “setting the pace” for others.
The 2010 Pacesetters are: Choice Financial, Dakota Food Equipment, Development Homes, Northeast Human Service Center and Rydell GM Auto Center.
Through its annual campaign, planned and carried out primarily through volunteers, United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Area raises funds that are then invested back into the county through area programs that focus on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life,a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement and good health.
United Way has raised $962,561 towards our 2010 campaign goal
of $1,000,000 as of 6/10/11!
