Responsibilities include: maintaining the general ledger, Accounts Payable, assisting with payroll (processing is outsourced), Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and ensuring adherence to United Way Worldwide’s financial policies. Also producing accurate and timely monthly financial package, and monitoring spending in relation to the designated budget
Preferred qualificaitons/requirements: Two to five years of progressive accounting experience in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting. A degree in accounting is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. General understanding of Microsoft Office; (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint). Other duties as assigned.
